Staybridge Hotel Architecture

2024

__

The Staybridge project is shaped around two volumes—one sculpted and warm, the other precise and modern. The hotel building features textured façades, shaded fins, and earth-colored walls that echo Saudi Arabia’s natural terrain, while green pockets and planted terraces soften the architecture. Opposite it, the administrative block presents a glass-wrapped structure with clean edges and natural daylight, reflecting transparency and operational clarity. Together, the design reflects the goals of Vision 2030 by blending cultural depth with environmental awareness and spatial efficiency.

Throughout the site, local references are expressed through material and form—rammed earth walls, soft golden frames, and traditional geometry reinterpreted into shading systems and paving patterns. The project integrates passive cooling, native planting, and walkable outdoor areas that encourage connection. It is a place that respects its surroundings, supports long-term living, and quietly aligns with the country’s vision for sustainable, human-centered development.
